 El Camino Travel Service, Inc. was established in 1953 by Russ and Rose Davee along with their daughter Bonnie in San Clemente, CA. They began by adventuring to the far reaches of the world and bringing back interesting itinerary ideas and unique contacts with people in each area they visited. They took many groups of fellow adventurers around the world and back several times, exploring Africa, the Orient, South America and Europe extensively.
In 1956 Bonnie's husband Ralph Koch, joined the business and began to expand their services. They were one of the first travel agencies to adopt computer airline scheduling and ticketing. Today they have direct access to premier tour operators, cruise lines, hotels, airlines and travel specialists around the globe.
In 1975 El Camino Travel became a representative of American Express. Many years of building relationships with these prestigious companies has opened up extraordinary opportunities to the staff of El Camino Travel and their loyal clients.
